On behalf of the Illinois State Trapshooting Association and the Board of Directors, I would like to explain a situation that has happened regarding target prices. White Flyer has instituted a price increase after we were given a quote for the targets for our State Shoot. Our target prices in the program were based on the earlier price quote and did not account for the raise. Because of this, the Board of Directors has voted to institute a $2.00 per hundred increase on the price of targets for the Illinois State Shoot. This is the first raise in over 5 years and is unavoidable. The program for the State shoot is prepared and printed many months ahead of the shoot and we were notified after the program was sent to the printers. We wish to thank all of our shooters for their understanding and look forward to a successful State shoot.
